Family Stylist Assistant (On-Call)

Storyfish is looking for an energetic and fun Family Stylist Assistant to help with on-location family photo shoots in the Greater San Diego Area.

We aim to offer tremendous value to every family doing whatever it takes to capture stunning, natural images all while going above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy and relaxed, delivering the best customer service because thats what our families expect and deserve.

Who are you?

You are laid back and don't get stressed easily. You can problem solve and can think on your feet. You are a good communicator and are extroverted. You are warm and relatable. In general you have a happy disposition and love meet and be around new people. You have an eye for detail and will speak up to make sure things look great.

Your Responsibilities:

33% Photography Grip - This includes but not limited to helping hold and position reflectors, holding light stands, carrying gear, etc.
33% Cheerleader - I'll lean on you to keep the energy up, make goofy faces at the kids and do what ever it takes to make sure people are having fun.
33% Visual Stylist - Assist the photographer with posing, making sure the details look great, etc

Hair & Makeup Experience a plus, but not required. Basic understanding of photography gear helpful, but not required.

Compensation

$100 per shoot. Each shoot usually lasts about one hour, there is a 15-minute pre-shoot call time at the designated location. Position is on-call. There might be occasions where there will be more than one shoot per day, in that case the $100 per shoot compensation still applies. Payment will be made electronically after each shoot via Square Cash or similar method.
